Amanda Gari (Lydia Lasker) has been a part of the cabaret scene on both coasts, but prefers the one without snow and ice. Her shows provide a potpourri of special material, standards, Broadway, and impersonations. She loves to honor the memory of her grandfather, the great Eddie Cantor, and hopes you agree with her theory that it’s more important to be the relative of a celebrity than an ACTUAL celebrity…

As an actress, she has run the gamut from stripper Tessie Tura in Gypsy to portraying Judy Garland a record three times in three different plays, most fortuitously in Carved in Stone, where she met Leon Acord (and the rest, as they say, is history).

On television, she was a potential juror anxious to see mobster Sonny Corinthos put behind bars on General Hospital, and had the distinction of yodeling “Jingle Bells” as Liza Minnelli on Victorious.

She’s not only Nathan’s loyal “gal Friday” and second-in-command at Adler Talent. Like everyone in Los Angeles, she also has theatrical aspirations—she is an experienced and talented cabaret artist, and frequently performs at venues throughout town. Originally from New York, Lydia moved to LA some time ago to escape the bitter winters. She is rarely at a loss for words, and is fiercely loyal to her boss. She is quick with a funny comeback, shoots from the hip, and never holds back when it comes to protecting her boss.
